A Happy New Year to you all.  We are rather excited about our new products this month.  We already represent manufacturers from the UK, USA, Canada & Germany but continuing with the success with our miniature bearings from China, we are expanding our imports from the Far East.  What this means is a wider product range at affordable prices.

Two promotions this month for advanced orders on our new motors (not MFA) and for our new 4-channel radios.  We are able to offer 15% off the price of the new motors (follow picture links) and 10% off our new radios.  Orders must be placed by January 21st and you need to enter the promotional code J07 into the promotional code box when you enter your personal details during the check-out stage of ordering.  We will apply the discount when we charge your payment card (no PayPal for this offer please) once the goods are ready for sending out.   

Small print: Our standard warranty applied to these new motors, however,  severe applications such as combat robots may not be covered, if you are not sure please ask via our FAQ forum before purchasing.

November saw one of our largest additions to our product range - some 140 items, this month we have added another 70 items.  We are now a GP Batteries stockist and are able to offer their Greencell Zinc Chloride and Ultra Alkaline range of primary cells with a pack of 4 AA Greencells for just 79p – that’s cheaper than most market stalls and £1 shops!!  We are also stocking a range of chargers and the GP3900 7.2V racing pack.  Unfortunately GP have not delivered half of the new stocks by the time we wrote this newsletter but hopefully the remaining stocks will arrive over the next few days.

Last month saw the release of the Spektrum 2.4GHz radio kit that has been selling rather well.  This month we added the S3110 servo, 17mm silver steel at long last to go with our 17mm bore bearings, Lithium button cells & a new 10mm bore miniature flange bearing.  The popularity of our range of miniature bearings continues to grow as does our orders on the factory in China.  This month saw the 1mm bore bearings completely sell out, no idea what customers use them for but they keep coming back for more.  We have a new delivery coming in late January.

As announced in the last newsletter, we have a new range of motors coming in by sea from China.  These have been made to order for us and fills that gap between our very popular ‘Feather Gold’ 150W motor and the equally popular Bosch 750W motor.  The really good news is that we have managed to also extend our range of geared motors from our previous largest of 21W.  First we have a new 75W planetary geared motor from MFA in 3 ratios.  Not yet an ideal ratio for use as a robot drive motor although 4:1, 104:1 and 504:1 will  still find plenty of uses.  Our main new range has motors from 150W to 1000W and geared motors from 200W to 800W at really keen prices i.e. 150W motor for £18 and a 200W geared motor for £40.  Stocks are schedules to reach us before the end of January - see our promotion below. 

On the same ship is our new 40MHz FM radio set which includes a transmitter, receiver and a pair of crystals for just £34.95 incl VAT with further options for batteries and chargers for those who need them.  We believe this will make our radio set the cheapest 4-channel 40MHz FM in the UK.  As for quality, look closely at the photo and you will see it’s a Skysports 4 which many of us have been using for many years.  How can we supply it so cheap, we buy direct and do not bundle it with extras that most users do not want.
