Potentiometers

Introduction

Three types of potentiometer to choose from:

Linear pot ideal for use with many of our speed controllers when used with an accelerator pedal.

Low cost carbon track with standard 50mm long, 6mm diameter nylon spindle. Body diameter 24mm with solder tag terminations.

Miniature 16mm conductive plastic track with standard 32mm long, 6mm diameter nylon spindle. Rated at 0.25W lin and 0.12W log with PCB solder tags.

Miniature 16mm Pot 10K Lin 50 Deg - Part No: 2000-280
A special version of a 10k potentiometer from 4QD for their range of speed controller throttle assemblies.

This pot made specially for 4QD is a 'standard' 10K pot (i.e. with 300° mechanical travel) but with the active part of the track occupying only the centre 50° of the mechanical travel.

It has a 6mm diameter shaft and is normally used in our boxed throttle and Finger-tip throttle mechanism. A lever to fit it is available separately, see above throttle link.

It is not recommended for operation from radio control servos which require a track of more than 90°!
