The Solarbotics range of Geared Motors are ideal for those smaller robots & models with geared motors starting from just 5 grams in weight!!

Note these geared motors are not supplied with any mounting hardware or instructions.

Solarbotics GM2 Offset - Part No: 1451-001
This 224:1 gearmotor (gearbox with motor) is a great low-cost alternative to modified hobby servos. The low-current motor is a perfect match for our micro dual serial motor controller 1503-001. The compact size of 55mm x 47mm x 22mm makes this unit an attractive choice for small robot designs.

Looking for a tiny gear motor? Only from Solarbotics comes the GM15, measuring under 6mm diameter, with an overall length of 20mm , which is smaller than many pager motors! The output shaft is grooved for a 1.5mm radius belt, but we've easily modified it to mate with our 10mm RW wheel (drilled out to 2.2mm). They weigh only 1.2grams!
