This controller that is also used in our Super Antweight kit. Based on a specially modified PICAXE 28 project board (see 3803-060) supplied complete with a pre-programmed 28X microcontroller and a L293D H-bridge driver chip.

Features:

• Drives 2 motors up to 1A each
• Runs at 4.5 to 6V although it is possible to run motors up to 30V with minor modification and a 5V logic supply
• Direct connection to the radio receiver (use your own leads or a specially made lead is available as an optional extra (see below)
• Built in failsafe and V-tail mixing for single stick control
• Full access to the operating software which is written in PICAXE Basic to modify the supplied program possible with the optional download lead (see link on the right)
• Spare I/O which can be user configured in Basic include 4 off analogue inputs, 4 off digital inputs (2 of which can be used for I2C) and 6 off digital outputs rated at up to 1A each
