Has anyone used the above combination?

#219 karting chain has a pitch of 7.77mm which is quite close to 8.0mm; especially on the small sprockets you might get away with it? The reason I want to do this is you can buy big sprocks in #219 (90teeth) so can get away with single stage gearing.
Also does anyone know the roller width on #219 chain?
